Comparative Losses of Working and Non-Working Names
The number of investors below exclude those who ceased investing in Lloyd's in 1991 or earlier and have no open years. The loss figures exclude Personal Stop Loss recoveries. Over 1,000 (mostly working) members were secretly and selectively allowed to purchase a £1M a year Personal Stop Loss Policy in the late 1980's. These policies were insured on the back of external members. The Equitas assumptions have been calculated by taking 20% of the Forecast Deterioration from Chatset as of 1996.

Take a look at individual state totals.
